In Ecuador, the most standard style of dress for the Hispanics, Mestizos, and for most blacks, is a western style. A
person's appearance in Ecuador is important. Some working-class people dress up in suits to take the bus to work, while they're
carrying a brief case in their hands, with their working clothes to change into when they get to work.
Women in the cities wear skirts or nice slacks / pants. They make sure their hair is nicely done, and they put on some
facial make-up. For most of the Campesino women they usually wear traditional full length skirts, but they're starting to
wear slacks.
The Men Wear slacks and a button-up Shirt, with a tie if they have, but for casual wear they sometimes wear blue jeans.
Buisness men in Sierra (near ecuador) , usually wear 3 piece suits. That's why a group of school Children, make a very good
impression when they are walking down a sidewalk with their 3- piece suits on. And one of the most common product of Ecuador is
the Panama Hats... They all wear them.
