In Ecuador, the most standard style of dress for the Hispanics, Mestizos, and for most blacks, is a western style. A person's appearance in Ecuador is important. Some working-class people dress up in suits to take the bus to work, while they're carrying a brief case in their hands, with their working clothes to change into when they get to work.
